Event & Facilities Management class
2026 marks the 12th year of a hands-on, experiential learning Sport Event & Facilities Management course that raises funds for a local nonprofit organization of the students' choice. Developing, planning, executing, and evaluating this event helps Sport Management majors put their classroom learning to use and understand "real world" scenarios. It also gives students sales, marketing, and sponsorship experiences, as well as networking opportunities outside the classroom. |
Sport Management Program
McKendree's Sport Management program was founded in 2012. Our alumni work and intern across the sport field at employers as varied as Detroit Pistons, Las Vegas Raiders, Under Armour, St. Louis Blues/Enterprise Center, St. Louis Cardinals, USA Softball, Atlanta Hawks, Kansas City Chiefs, Tennessee Titans, NRG Park (Houston), University of Minnesota, University of Iowa, University of Kansas, Bradley University, University of Tulsa, the Aspire Group, rEvolution Sports Chicago, and Bethel University.
